Trout  fishing winter league dates are 27th Nov, 4th Dec, 8th and 22nd Jan, 5th and 19th Feb, 4th and 18th Mar 1st and 22nd Apr.

Entry fee is £25 and matches will be fished on a 3 fish ticket.

Anyone wanting to fish the matches can book a place by calling the lakes on 07798 585836.

The lake will remain open for other anglers on these dates.

Catch and realease has resumed but there is a limit of 5 fish per day.

Fishing has been very good over the last few weeks  lures

have taken a number of big Rainbows upto 9lb 12oz

the mild weather has seen a number of hatches around the lake so Buzzers fished just below the surface and even dry flies have produced a number of fish
